I am currently involved in Cognitive Neuroscience research at Harvard University. My main research interest is the representation of object knowledge in the brain. I am interested in understanding how we parse our perceptual experience into objects, how different objects are associated to a specific "object type", and how they are associated to words. I became interested in these problems because of the role played by objects in the foundations of human knowledge.
In my research I use behavioral studies, fMRI and patient studies.
I am also interested in the relationship between mind and brain and in how can information about the brain help us to understand the mind.
